This month I’ve read good books as well. I can’t choose a favourite one. Douglas Kennedy has charmed me once again with his special style and wonderful plots. I’ve discovered authors like William Nicholson or Maureen Lee, who also tell about life and love set in old times. I’ve also enjoyed the latest book by Linda Gillard, a wonderful Gothic tale. And I’ve had good fun with some romance as well.
This is not the first book that I have read about segregation in the southern states of American in the 1960s, which is a fascinating topic.
Alison undergoes a process of learning as the book progresses.
This novel is about Alison and starts when she finds the corpse of a black man floating on the river.
This is the book I’m going to start reading tonight. I think it’s about interracial love. I think it’s going to be an interesting read.
Publishing year: 2013
This book is a wonderful tour in Dorset and Cambridge.
When Alice kept hurting and mourning for Joe, I wanted her to snap out of it and forget him.
The story is about Alice who goes to Dorset on holiday before leaving for university in Cambridge.
