This is the list of books I’ve enjoyed most this year. It’s difficult to cut down the list of beautiful books I’ve enjoyed, but I’ll choose two best books for every month.
I’ve enjoyed good books this month and discovered new authors. I love the books by Kate Furnivall and Katherine Webb; I love history and novels set in the past. I also like the book The Colossus, based on real people of the nineteenth century, and The Medea Complex. And how can I not mention Amanda Prowse and their two books about Plum Patisserie? They were a real delight to read.
Another month that goes, and I have to say I’ve enjoyed reading some very good books. I’d like to hightlight the series of Frances Doughty mysteries that I’ve really loved. I’m really looking for the next books in this series. I also want to mention another good book by Michelle Mora, Nefertiti. I’ve also read a new author Isabelle Grey whose book “The Bad Mother” was a delight to read.
This month I’ve read good books as well. I can’t choose a favourite one. Douglas Kennedy has charmed me once again with his special style and wonderful plots. I’ve discovered authors like William Nicholson or Maureen Lee, who also tell about life and love set in old times. I’ve also enjoyed the latest book by Linda Gillard, a wonderful Gothic tale. And I’ve had good fun with some romance as well.
