SPOILERS!!!
Erika has become the victim of a hatred campaign, and her stalker goes beyond sending her horrible messages. When she is once at home alone, after a bath she walks into the living room barefoot and hurts her foot with a piece of glass. Then she discovers that someone has hurled a brick at the window, and apart from the window pane, a framed pictured is also damaged. The bleeding does not stop, so she has to go to the hospital where she needs to have part of the glass surgically removed. This is not the first time that she has suffered an attack. Some days ago when she spent the night with Blomkvist in a hotel, she found the four wheels of her car slashed the next day. So there is someone very dangerous after her. The alarm in her house did not go off when the brick went through the window, so she fires the company and decides to hire the services of Milton Security.
While this is happening, Blomkvist is involved in the Zalachenko case and has a meeting with Endlinth and his unit. This makes him become closer to Monica, and she does not hide the fact that she is attracted to him and wants to have a fling with him. And we know that Blomkvist is someone who is a bit of a womanizer and enjoys the attention of beautiful women.
As for Lisbeth, she is writing her testimony, giving details about Bjurman’s rape and some other events of the last months. Dr Jonasson says that she is recovered and can’t keep her in the hospital, and she assures him that she is ready even if that means going to prison until the trial. Lisbeth has also talked to Annika and says that she will do some illegal things to defend herself, and she is not asking Annika to do anything wrong, but she wants her to be aware and look the other way.
