Weighed in the Balance 4 (Chapters 8 – 10)

SPOILERS!!!

The trial begins, and Oliver thinks there is no way he can win. The witnesses for the prosecution show how Zorah said several times that Gisela had killed Prince Freidrich in social gatherings, and how the accusation has damaged her reputation. The witnesses that the prosecution calls are Lord and Lady Wellborough, Florent Barberini, and Evelyn von Seidlitz. The only thing that Oliver is able to do is create enough reasonable doubt about the fact that Friedrich could have been murdered for political reasons. What is clear is that Gisela has the support of people, and Zorah is despised. I wonder why Zorah stubbornly keeps insisting that Gisela killed her husband. Why? What does she know?
