The Perfect Affair 5 (Chapter 20)

I have only read a few pages this morning. There is a fact that has made my head spin. Rose unclasps the back in the framed photograph she has of Henry. The photograph was in the office, and Mr Georgiadis sent it to her when he retired, so she imagines that he knew what was going on between her and Henry. Rose takes a yellowish telegram out of the frame, and the words in the telegram are: Sleep well. Everything is well. I did not die. :O What does this mean? Didn’t Henry die? How is that possible? I don’t understand a thing!!!
