Publishing year: 2009
I’ve only read eight pages of this book, but my interest is already piqued.
We are introduced to Charlotte, who tells us when she had her second daughter Willow. The baby was born with several fractured bones because she has a rare condition: osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), which means that the child’s bones are so brittle that they can easily break. I can see the challenges for the child and the family.
Interesting start! I know I’m going to enjoy this book as much as Ms. Picoult’s other books.
